This will result in rapid weight loss while still eating your favorite high calorie foods.

The author further explains that typical diets restricts calorie intake which makes the body go into starvation mode which can ultimately destroy your metabolism making weight loss much more difficult in the future. He references how our prehistoric ancestors would either feast or famine, depending on how the hunting was. Sometimes they would go for days without any food as they did not find any during their hunt. When they do find food they overindulge as they would not know when they would get another chance to eat. The author uses this to illustrate how our bodies can go through periods of indulgences to trick our bodies into thinking they are not on a diet, and therefore will not go into starvation mode.

In our opinion, we can see how this method would work to help boost metabolism to lose weight. The only problem we see with the diet is the health factor. It is also scientifically proven that these high fat foods cause high cholesterol and clogged arteries. However this could be remedied by selecting high calorie foods that are not loaded with trans fats and cholesterol.
